Mohammad Alam Ezadyar, the first deputy speaker of the Meshrano Jirga, met this afternoon with Albert Khorov, deputy ambassador of the Russian Federal Embassy in Kabul.

During the meeting, which was also attended by the Secretary-General of the Russian Federal Embassy, ​​Mr. Albert, referring to the friendly and long-standing relations between the two countries and his country's work with the Afghan people, commemorated the 75th anniversary of the Russian Federation's victory over the Nazis. He added that the Russian Federation Council has been supporting a UN General Assembly resolution since 2005 under the heading "Fighting Nazi heroism, new Nazism and other forms of violence and experience that intensify contemporary forms of racism, racial discrimination, xenophobia, and intolerance."  It also supports a proposal to ratify the UN General Assembly resolution on the 75th anniversary of the end of World War II.

Then, the Deputy Speaker of the Senate appreciated the assistance of that country in various fields and reminded of the long-standing relations between the two countries and emphasized on strengthening and expanding these relations at different levels, especially the development of parliamentary relations. He added that the people of Afghanistan are opposed to any discrimination, supremacy, and inequality in society and are fighting hard to ensure social justice and equality.

Similarly, both sides discussed the global and regional situation, The deputy ambassador of the Russian Federation's embassy asked for the views and opinion of the first deputy speaker of the Senate on the start of inter-Afghan negotiations, the fight against terrorism and other issues that were shared and explained by the first deputy speaker.
